OKLAHOMA HAT

"Statehood" is the first in the Oklahoma Hat Heritage Series. This hat bears the historical numbers 1907 depicting the year that Oklahoma was officially declared a state. The actual date that Teddy Roosevelt signed the Oklahoma statehood proclamation was November 16, 1907. We selected today (November 16, 2024) to launch this brand for its significance. Happy birthday Oklahoma!

This date is special to our family for another reason... it was on this date only forty years after Oklahoma became a state that my mother was born in Elk City, Oklahoma. She has gone on to her heavenly home, but this brand is a dedication to her. Happy birthday Mama. We love and miss you so much.
